Q. On which platforms does tvkona work?
A. It works on both computer and television. But you can watch only one place at a time.
Q. What is the minimum internet speed needed?
A. 3.5 Mbps Internet speed is required to have our services with out buffering. If you live in Japan, usually every body has higher than 4Mbps speed.People from other parts of the world need to purchase set top box for better viewing.
Q. Registration?
A. You can register online from our website. The email address is your user id and a password is sent automatically to your account after you subscribe using credit card or Paypal.
Q. Credit card and Pay pal? Are they safe?
A. Payments made by credit card or Pay pal to tvkona would activate customers account automatically. Yes, they are safe because we are using Pay pal system. So, no credit card details are saved in our data. There is no auto renewal.
Q. Bank transfer and convenient store payment?
A. Auto activation is not available for bank transfers and convenient stores. So, there is will be manual activation for customers who pay by bank or convenient store. It will take few hours to check and activate account.
Q. Set top box?
A. Set top box is a device which will help you to view our services on your television.
Q. Will the set top box work in any country?
A. Yes, our set top box works in any country. Customers who use set top box will have better viewing and no buffering at all. So, customers living out side Japan would enjoy our service if you purchase a set top box.
Q. Will my old set top box from different provider work?
A. Yes, tvkona services work on most of the IPTV set top boxes. Please contact tvkona staff with the set top box details which you have.
Q. What is the streaming bit rate you are providing?
A. We are providing 650 Kbps to 750 Kbps.
Q. Is HD available?
A. We are soon launching HD set top box. Will inform you.
Q. Do you provide internet connection?
A. Yes we do provide internet connection from NTT. Please send us your name and address. Contact us.

A. Yes, we provide discounts for corporate deals above 4 customers.

FAQ FOR EXISTING USERS

Q. My set top box froze?
A. Please check your internet speed if it is at least 4Mbps. Make sure that you switch off your set top box before switching off your television. Some times there might be an interruption in the internet line, so please unplug internet LAN cable and power cable to restart the set top box.
Q. Set top box remote?
A. Please check your batteries. Press the "STB" button on the top of the remote for it to work effectively.
